A private beach house facing the rugged surf of Bass Strait on the pristine Mornington Peninsula coast. The building lifts itself up off the dunes to welcome arrivals and also peeks over the shrubs through a nature reserve to the coastline, where whale and dolphin sightings are not uncommon. We sourced the natural Portsea Limestone locally for the external and living room walls.
